Enrollment Verification

FIU provides enrollment verification services for FIU‑related educational records (Verification of name, status, dates of attendance, degree, GPA) only. We do not verify or release information about attendance, enrollment, or academic records and grades that were transferred to FIU from other institutions. You must contact your other institutions to verify their information.

The Enrollment Verification Form can not be completed until after the add/drop period for the term that the enrollment information is requested.

You can request an enrollment Verification one of three ways:

  1. Official Enrollment Verifications can be obtained and printed through MyFIU. Self-service enrollment verifications via MyFIU for the current semester will be available 30 days after the start of the semester.
  2. Select 'Academic Records'.
  3. Select 'Enrollment Verification' and click the 'Request' button.
  4. Requests can also be uploaded online via MyFIU. Follow the submission instructions, located at the bottom of the Enrollment Verification request.
  5. For letters of non-attendance, please email FIUverify@fiu.edu along with a Photo ID.

NOTE: Please check your student account for any financial holds. We will be unable to process these requests if financial holds are present on your account.

Third-Party Verification Requests

Florida International University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verifications to employers and background screening firms. For further assistance, please contact the National Student Clearinghouse:
