Initial awards for grants are based on full-time enrollment. If you are not enrolled full-time, the grant will be reduced based on your actual enrollment after the drop/add period.

*Students admitted to a STEP Pathway will be awarded based on three-quarter time enrollment for the first term.

Florida Student Assistance Grant

The Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) is a need-based state grant available to undergraduate students who attend Florida public state universities. You will be awarded based on the information submitted on the FAFSA. The annual awards may vary from $1,305 - $2,610 for the academic year excluding the summer semester.

Requirements

  • Submit the FAFSA
  • Have an EFC of 0 to 6206
  • Must be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Must be eligible for Pell Grant
  • Must NOT have a previous bachelor’s degree
