Late Registration Fee
A student who initiates registration during the Add/Drop period for the session is assessed a $100.00 late registration fee.

A late registration fee waiver request must be submitted within two weeks of initial registration for the semester.
The Office of the Registrar will consider requests for a waiver only if a student registers late due to circumstances determined by the University to be exceptional and beyond the control of the student. Students must provide documentation concerning the incident that prevented registering on time. The late registration fee WILL NOT BE WAIVED for:
Before you initiate a Late Registration request below, create your DocuSign account via docusign.fiu.edu and authenticate using your FIU student single-sign-on credentials. You will only need to complete this process once.
Please Note: Documents initiated before creating your account will not be accessible within your account. However, all new requests generated after your account creation will be readily available on the DocuSign Manage page. There, you can conveniently review both completed documents and those pending approval signatures, if applicable. Additionally, you have the option to download the documents. Do not forget to submit your completed documents for processing by following the submission instructions as included on the form.
